“a modern translation of West Indian culture and style”

Located under the viaduct within the Manhattanville Factory District of West Harlem, Solomon and Kuff is a 5,000 square foot industrial space features a loft style dining area along with event lounge, two elevated DJ booths and two full bars. The perfect location for Birthday Parties, Semi-Private and Private Events, Weekend Brunches and more…

Deirdra Govan of Deirdra Govan Designs conceptualized the interior and graphic design for the space and the brand, bringing to life a visual narrative that balances the history of rum and turn of the century architectural details with contemporary black & white photography by Barron Claiborne. The interior accents of sultry amber lighting, reclaimed patterned wood, garden walls and a display of aged rum barrels, all  work together in creating a rustic yet refined flow of space, complemented by the frame work of expansive high tin ceilings, exposed brick walls, structural black beams and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer street scape views facing the Hudson River.
